Honkai: Star Rail reveals Imbibitor Lunae Character and Hes Quite Familiar
Honkai: Star Rail developer HoYoverse just revealed a new character that will appear in the gacha of the popular sci-fi RPG.
The “new” character is named “Imbibitor Lunae” and I say “new” between obligatory quotation marks. Albeit he’ll be mechanically a character that you’ll have to pull on the game’s gacha, you may find him very, very familiar.
As you can see from the art above, he’s a five-star character following the path of Destruction and wielding the Imaginary element. Here’s how he’s described officially.
Imbibitor Lunae High Elder of the Luofu, bearer of the Azure Dragon’s legacy, bringing forth clouds and rain, and entrusted with the duty of guarding the Ambrosial Arbor. Revered with the title of “Imbibitor Lunae.” — History of the Xianzhou: The Five Dragons’ Exodus
Honkai: Star Rail is a turn-based RPG that can be played for free in single-player mode. It’s available for PC through a standalone client and the Epic Games Store, as well as on iOS and Android devices. Although the developers have announced that they are working on a PlayStation 5 port, no specific release date has been shared besides “Q4 2023” for now.
The game recently received the first major update, version 1.1 “Galactic Roaming,” which is coming on June 7, 2023. If you’d like to see more about Honkai: Star Rail, you can check out the character trailers revealed in the past few weeks including Yanquing himself, Bailu, Himeko, Gepard, Jing Yuan, Silver Wolf, Luocha, and Yukong.
We already know that the next major update to the game, version 1.2, will be revealed on July 8.
